Document plus liveness
The guest photographs an ID and takes a live selfie. The document is authenticated, a real person is confirmed to be holding it, and the two are matched — before the reservation is confirmed.
Every guest verifies a government ID and a live selfie when they book. At the door, a face match confirms the person who booked is the person walking in. Fraudulent bookings stop before arrival, and the whole trail becomes evidence if a chargeback lands anyway.

On arrival the guest looks at their phone camera or your lobby tablet. A match against the verified ID releases the smart lock and timestamps the entry.
Verified identity, entry logs and signed terms attach to the reservation. When a guest claims they never stayed there, the dispute desk has the answer in hand.
Set an auto-clear confidence per property and house rules like a minimum age. Guests above the line clear without anyone's time; the rest land in a review queue with the document, the liveness capture and the reasons side by side — approve, ask for a second document, or decline.
Biometric data is processed only with the guest's explicit consent, never sold, and deleted on the retention schedule you configure. Verification is available to founding customers as part of the platform rollout.
Turn verification on for a single home, see the review queue on a real reservation, then roll it out.
