Who we are
Manorly provides a direct-booking platform for short-term rental owners and property managers: booking websites, payments, guest identity checks and dispute support. Manorly is operated by NovaScale LLC, 930 S 4th St, Ste 209 #6593, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA. This policy covers manorlystr.com and the Manorly platform. Questions go to our Privacy Officer at privacy@manorlystr.com.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the website and the platform.
- Website forms (walkthrough, fee teardown, custom-build brief): name, email, phone if you give it, company, portfolio size, the booking platforms you use, your message, the page you came from and campaign (UTM) tags.
- Platform accounts (owners and managers): name, business details, login credentials, property and listing details, rates and settings.
- Guest bookings, on behalf of our customers: guest name, contact details, stay dates, booking and payment history, messages with the host by SMS, email, web chat or social (an AI assistant may help answer routine questions), check-in photos, smart-lock entry logs and signed rental agreements.
- Guest identity checks: ID document images, a liveness capture and a face match, collected only with the guest's explicit consent.
- Payments: transaction records. Card details are handled by our payment-processing partners.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and server logs, used for security and to keep the service running.
We do not run advertising trackers on this website. We use only the cookies needed for sessions, security and form protection.
How we use it
- to reply to enquiries and book walkthroughs
- to provide, secure and support the platform
- to process bookings and payments for our customers and their guests
- to verify guest identity when a property requires it
- to prevent fraud and handle chargebacks and disputes
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
- to understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the site
We rely on your consent, given when you submit a form or use the platform, and on what is reasonably necessary to provide the service. We follow applicable US federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, and the biometric privacy laws of states such as Illinois, Texas and Washington. Biometric identity checks always require separate, explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that host, secure and operate the service for us: cloud hosting, email, SMS, customer-relationship software and support tools. They may use it only to provide those services.
- Payment processors that handle card payments, payouts and chargebacks.
- Identity-verification providers that process ID checks on our behalf.
- Our customers. Owners and property managers see the bookings, messages and verification results for their own guests.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect people from fraud or harm.
Guest data belongs to the customer whose property the guest booked. We process it on that customer's behalf, and each customer's data is kept in its own isolated workspace.
Storage, retention and security
We store personal information on servers in North America (the United States and Canada). Where it is processed outside your state or country, it is subject to the laws of the place where it is held.
- Website enquiries: kept up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Account and booking records: kept for the life of the account, plus the period tax and accounting law requires.
- Identity-check data: deleted on the retention schedule the property sets, and never kept longer than 90 days.
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, isolated customer workspaces and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the regulator as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, or to receive a copy of what you gave us. Email privacy@manorlystr.com. We reply within 30 days.
Guests of a Manorly property: we may send your request to the owner or manager who holds your booking, because they decide what happens to that data.
California residents also have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact your state attorney general or the Federal Trade Commission. Residents of other countries may also contact their local privacy regulator.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page with a new date. If a change is significant, we will tell customers by email before it takes effect. See also our Terms and Conditions.
